THE AFFINITY OF BLUE AND GREEN

My Light illuminated in dancing reflections of
Blue and Green and Orange and Purple
Shining On The Wall.

Now, that Space had provided me with Time Enough
I perceived this craziness as informative.

I was the Rock’n’Roll Gypsy.

A soothing sensation - to wear
this bizarre TADZIO wig
and that mozartly frilled shirt.

I was the pirate. I was Captain Han Solo.
I was Christopher Atkins - swimming
Through a blue disco lagoon
Having Laurie Anderson watch me.

TADZIO’s wig – really the hand of the angel,
like the ultimate orgon-ray collector.

Now that all the truth has come and gone,
neither memories nor expectations
confusing my real life any longer.

Tender certainties again, just like the caresses from the soul
Who started it all, once.

Peter Pan. With any name.

Play the wind in my hair, again ...
