This is the most famous portrait of the young genius poet.
Not only was Carjat one of the first photographers to show unique raffinesse, but he also had taste in the presentation of other artists like Charles Baudelaire, Walt Whitman, Alexandre Dumas, Georges Bizet, Claude Monet, Jules Verne, Theresa L. Fossey or Frederick Lémaitre.
