In Busch's second drawing of this portrayed boy, the boy is shown reading. However, this drawing does not have the same level of execution as the other portrait.


Due to the shifted position of the body to the right, the chair on which he is sitting can be seen (which would not be of much relevance if in later drawings, the same chair would not reappear)
